The One Strategy Shift for Your Home Based Business That Can Make It Successful

I want you to think for just a minute.

Think back on the day when you were just somebody, probably a stay-at-home mom, a college student or an OFW, who hasn’t start his/her own home based business.

Think back on what made you join the opportunity or what made you bought their product.

My guess is probably because of the following reasons:

  • It’s the best product ever
  • Nothing else can compare to it
  • It has the most profitable compensation plan
  • It has an excellent corporate leadership

I could be wrong, but for myself I believe I’ve unconsciously join with those reasons. You could have too… or not.

Now, clear you mind again, focus and stay with me on the following words and sentences.

I want you go with me and shift our minds to this one:

“How did my sponsor did that?”

“Hold on for a minute!” you may say. “How come that became relevant?” Please stay with me on this and I will explain later.

Are you with me? Good!

If you think back again, it is either you found the opportunity that you are in right now or someone else offered it to you, right?

Either way you’ve talked to the person, who has the opportunity, you have some questions and objections and in the end you joined that person in the opportunity.

That person did a good job of communicating the idea of the opportunity.

Okay! I think I’ve said too much it’s time to get to the point.

What I’ve shown here are two perspectives of people. A consumer’s perspective and a business owner’s perspective.

Now for the majority of home based business owners when they start promoting their business opportunity their perspective is still of a consumer and it’s quite obvious nowadays. Just a simple glance at your Facebook newsfeed and you’ll see things like:

“Will You Be On Of The First Millionaires Created In The Next 12 Months?”

“This is an unparalleled opportunity that’s taking this industry by storm! Did you know they’re writing books about us?”

“This is the most lucrative compensation plan you’ve ever seen.”

“Our upline is un-be-lievable. They reached six figures faster than anyone has.”

“Our corporate leadership is unmatched. They’ve got a proven track record of success.”

Did they look familiar?

I’m sure they did.

Now I’m not saying that these things are not important, they are. In fact, they are critical elements.

What I am trying to say is that by promoting this way you are putting emphasis on all the wrong things, you are putting all your focus the way a consumer looks at an opportunity.

So what do you need to focus on?

You need to shift from a consumer’s perspective to a business owner’s perspective by doing your best at communicating the idea of your product or business opportunity. This is done by effective sales and marketing.

You Can Make a Lot of Money with an Awesome Marketing Plan and an Average Product. You Will Never Even Come Close To Making as Much with an Awesome Product and a Second-rate Marketing Plan.

Understand this most important fundamental of all: It’s not about the product. It’s about the marketing.

You Can Have the Most Ground-Breaking Product In The World, But If You’re Not Using Effective Marketing, No One Will Know And No One Will Care.
